“We have been getting beef from the Loertschers for several years. We have known the family for over 30 years. They are a generational family run business with traditional family values. They are always dependable. They let us know when the cows will be headed to the butcher usually several months in advance. The meat is always excellent quality. It’s hard to really describe the difference in smell when you are cooking ground beef purchased at a grocery store versus cooking ground beef from HiWillow. It just smells good, even a little bit sweet. The steaks are perfect whether cooked on the smoker or a grill, they are always tender and full of flavor. It is nice to get the variety of cuts that is possible by purchasing the whole cow. Loertschers raise them right with free ranging in the great clean air and water from Willow Creek in Bone, Idaho.”
