How it works: You reserve your choice of a Hi Willow Half Beef Share today with a non-refundable deposit. You will be contacted by someone to arrange a specific processing date, usually in February or March. We hand select your beef from The Hi Willow Ranch here in Idaho to be processed for you on the agreed upon processing date. Once your beef is ready we will contact you for the remainder owed based on your final hang weight.
Pricing Your Beef: Your final price is determined by hang weight. The hang weight is the weight of the carcass immediately after slaughter. This weight is crucial as it determines the final cost of your beef share. You'll pay $5.50 per pound of hang weight, and your initial deposit will be deducted from this total. You'll then receive an invoice for the remaining balance.
On average, our half beef hanging weight is around 330 lbs. The weight of beef that the customer gets after processing is typically 60% of the hang weight. That would be approximately 198 lbs. Weights will vary, as we finish them out until they meet our high standards for delivery to our customers.

We offer local delivery within 30 miles of Iona, ID.
We will deliver to Salt Lake area or Boise for an additional $100 delivery fee.
Pricing: Place your Half Beef deposit today for $750. Pay the rest when your beef is ready, based on hanging weight.
Freezer Space: This Half Beef will require approx. 10-11 cubic ft. of freezer space.
Packaging: All cuts are individually wrapped for long-term freezer storage.
